High Speed line gantries

Hi all,

I'm a new user and have just learned that the new High Speed Rail line will pass within 350m of my property. Ouch! Question is, how high can I expect the overhead gantries etc to be ... the track is already 10m above the height of my land, and I'm assuming probably another 10m for all the gantry stuff. Any insight from what's already been built through Kent?

Its 15 years away yet, I wouldnt be hugely worried about it as there is still no guarentee it will happen.

Contact wire will be about 5.5m, system height say another 2m, so max would be about 8m.

I'd say about the same as modern streetlights...
