Tomorrow (Fri) my old folk will be travelling from Horwich around noon. They have a car that needs parking (disabled badge) and I'm worried that the rail car-park usually seems full, and that the other car-parks around Middlebrook seem to be limited time (2hrs) for shoppers.

Is there an overspill car-park they can use? Seems a bit pointless sending them to another station as they're using the train to avoid the drive.

Thanks!

I think they should be ok in the disabled spots at Horwich Parkway unless some able bodied people have decided to park there that is <(

Failing that could they maybe go to Blackrod or Lostock instead even though they would prefer Horwich?

Horwich allows them the half-price tickets to Arnside etc, Lostock/Blackrod doesn't (different company) so to travel from Lostock incurs extra cost. Has to be Horwich!

I am going to send you a message Howard as I have some inside info that I couldn't post on here as I work for a company around Middlebrook.

Reply sent - hope you got it (I'm not clever at that sort of thing!)
