Hi everyone,
i'm new to the forums, and was wondering how hard is Track Maintainance? My reason for asking is i'm a boxer looking to turn over and go professional soon, and the job sounds like it would be my cup of tea. However if i'd be coming home everyday shattered i'd probably reconsider applying.

I usually run for 5miles in the morning 4 times a week
and train in the evening 4/5 times a week

Thanks in advance.

My father in law had been doing it for about 30 years. Some days very demanding, others not so much. His knees are shot to pieces though. If you still want to do training bear in mind you might do a lot of night work.

It depends what is happening, shovelling ballast is very therapeutic in summer!
Quite a bit of night and weekend work.
