Ice is reported to be causing problems this morning 12/02/16 in SWT land.
Problems on up Portsmouth Direct between Petersfield and Haslemere and between Aldershot Ascot and possibly at Ascot and Martins Heron; the Portsmouth Direct has an overnight engineering possession and from Realtime Trains it seems the Deicers do not run.

“Alterations to services between Havant and Haslemere
Due to ice affecting the conductor rail between Havant and Haslemere the Guildford bound line is disrupted.
Impact:
Train services running through these stations may be delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 07:00 12/02.
Customer Advice:
Your journey may be affected this morning after the 0430 Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo service developed a fault between Petersfield and Haslemere. As a result the train is currently running 30 minutes late, however we are not sure what has caused the fault and as a result trains will need to run at a reduced speed from Petersfield to Haslemere. This will lead to some delays and trains may be terminated short of their destination or diverted via Eastleigh.
-
Due to the risk of trains stopping and not being able to start moving again, trains towards London Waterloo from Portsmouth will not call at Liss or Liphook. If you're travelling from these stations towards Haslemere and Guildford, you should travel to Petersfield and catch a return service.
If you're travelling from the Havant direction to Liphook or Liss, you should travel via Haslemere.”
“Alterations to services at Ascot
Due to a broken down train at Ascot the Reading bound line is disrupted.
Impact:
Train services running through this station may be delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 09:00 12/02.
Customer Advice:
Your journey may be affected this morning after an empty train making its way from Farnham to Reading to begin a service developed problems at Ascot. The train has not been able to move from Ascot station at this time, and all trains will need to use the remaining through platform. This may lead to some delays for Reading-bound services as they wait for London-bound trains to clear the platform.
-
Another train has now developed a problem at Martins Heron and cannot be moved. This means trains to and from Ascot will be delayed or altered.
-
We're working to get the lines cleared as quickly as possible. Your service may run non-stop between some stations or start away from the scheduled station in order to minimise disruption to the service this morning. We're sorry for the disruption to your journey.”
“Delays to services between Aldershot and Ascot
Due to ice affecting the conductor rail between Aldershot and Ascot trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines. Train services through these stations may be subject to disruption on all routes. Disruption is expected until 09:00 12/02.
Additional Information:
Your journey may be affected this morning after an empty train making its way from Farnham to Reading to begin a service developed problems at Ascot. The train has not been able to move from Ascot station at this time. Further issues with the power supply mean that trains are unable to move. We are working to get trains on the move as soon as possible.”
