In the future, would new staff be employed by a new Great British Railways entity?

All indications are that it will stay much the same as now (and as with TfL). Each individual part of the operation is its own legal entity, but there are some overarching benefits (e.g. even though Overground/TfL Rail staff don't legally work for TfL, they still get a free TfL pass).

Will there be standard T&Cs though? So a platform operative lets say R02 will be paid the same in Cornwall as someone employed in Newcastle.?
I guess we don’t k know yet.

A note that I've seen that GBR are currently getting secondments from people across TOCs, although the main employer remains the TOC.

It would be a big benefit to staff levels to the local operators, it would be possible to go back to a promotion system to transfer to the "better" jobs. removing some the training costs from the likes of northern.
