Is there an Open data realtime train times site for Europe?

Well, as above.

Does such a site or source exist? I'm mainly after it for Railsim purposes, currently I use HAFAS from OBB, though that seems doomed now.

Any suggestions?

Well I doubt one for all of Europe.

This request for realtime trains outside Britain pops up from time to time. I stand to be corrected but AFAIK Open data doesn't exist in many countries hence no true equivalent of realtime trains.

Those similar systems that exist cover passenger trains only AFAIK

The Netherlands has realtime data for nearly all forms of public transport, including buses and even ferries. To get access to the raw data, go to www.ndovloket.nl and apply for API access there (it's free).

If you're just after some data, I can recommend these sites:
- http://ovzoeker.nl/ gives a map with everything on it, in real time
- http://ovtijden.com/avtdag/RTD/live gives live departure information for trains, including the type of rolling stock that will be used to form the service. For NS operated trains this is realtime information, for other operators the planned stock is shown.

As far as I can find out the data stream is not available for Finnish Trains, but a real-time map is

Trains in the Netherlands are not live.
Some buses are, as is Rotterdam metro, Rotterdam ferries, Amsterdm trams, etc.

Outside of The Netherlands, I have yet to see any city with real-time info.
It all seems to be just timetabled information being shown as 'live'.

Not Europe, and you need to register to access some facilities (which I haven't done) , but India has this site, including what appears to be some type of "live" map.

Looks to me like timetables information only. Not live data.

This is like a lot of the available transport trackers around, ie nothing like the UK's Realtime trains which tells you the exact live location of any type of train from HST to tamper, to the 1/2 minute
