Indeed, although the walkers lodgings attached to the inn are probably closer to my price range !

Only if you like damp rooms and plastic mattresses in a bunk arrangement (having put mates in there on my 40th in 2009, it wasn't great...)

Crewe? There was pretty much nothing there before the railways, and many would argue it's a bleak, desolate settlement devoid of most signs of civilisation

The same argument can be put forward for S***don as well...

My sister in law and her family live in Dentdale so we always stay with them but by all accounts the rooms in the pub itself are pretty good.
