thanks guys for the post im not to sure about the pay packet 13-18 a little low , but beggars cant be choosers in some cases it hurts to know that i was weeks late when tfl and lorol was recruiting for olympics hmm real gutted anyone know if they will be recruiting soon or is that something that will be in the distant future

I would have thought it would be very unlikely in the near future with LUL.

What are you expecting to be paid for high demand, entry level jobs? TfL and Virgin might pay almost 30k for these kind of jobs but that's the exception rather than the rule.

I keep an eye on the vacancy pages and there are quite a few roles of the kind you are seeking being advertised so it may be worth looking at those pages to be in with a chance.

Southern are currently looking for Platform Assistants at East Croydon Station. However the application does seem to be geared towards those who helped during the Olympics and have done work experience with them/on the railway. Closing day is 6th December, so not much time to apply
