Journey routing query.

I am travelling from Camborne to Swindon (Wilts) tomorrow morning on an Adult off peak return ticket showing a restriction WG.
The line is shut between Exeter St David's & Tiverton Parkway due to engineering work with replacement bus services. Some GWR services are diverting via Yeovil and Castle Cary.

I was hoping to catch such a service and change trains at Reading if possible.

Would this be allowed?
