Southern Vectis have painted one of their double-deckers (1608) in a white and purple celebratory colour scheme. Any other companies doing this? (Personally, I think the SV vehicle looks like an advert for Cadbury’s.)

Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancs have this one based in Morecambe (11202).

It was joined by 10014 from Carlisle and Arriva Merseyside 4579 also in Jubilee liveries at the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust running day in Morecambe on 22nd May.

I got there too late to see all three together but there are some good photos online.

Regarding the buses used in the pageant today. I think there could have been a better attempt at matching them to the eras they represented

It was approximately a time line starting with an old Bristol, but then just used about 4 route masters in the middle, with the Olympians being used for the 00s/10s
