Landslip on the Cumbrian Coast

I’ve just seen a fb post that the landslip between Whitehaven and Workington has seriously damaged the sea wall and may take 12 months to repair. Does anyone have any further information on this?

Northern Twitter feed is now saying closed until 23rd March.

looks like the whole wall is disappearing into the Irish Sea!

According to the local newspapers, the problem is storm damage to an under bridge at Parton. See link below for more photos.
