Hi, just wondering what SWR’s policy was on laser eye surgery for drivers?

Thanks in advance!

I was briefed (a few years ago) that laser eye surgery has been classed as 'cosmetic' on the railway . If it should go wrong you may fall foul of any Sickness/Managing Health Policy if you need to take time off. Obviously it would be different if the surgery was deemed as 'necessary' rather than the individual not wanting to wear glasses.

Thanks for your reply.
Guess it’s best to contact the TOC direct then and get the official stand point.
