Had not realised there were so many, but what is lacking is the juice to run them properly rather than just hauling them around or using them for static purposes.

:idea: preserved 3rd rail stock running days on the Lymington branch or even better mainline tours.

Don't forget about the 303 set at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway as can be seen on my avatar, usually hauled by a class 27 using Blue Star.

The list was of recent mainline preservations. If I were to have added those preserved several years ago, going back to the BIL and COR then everyone WOULD be reduced to 'fribbling wrecks' like my old mate Slash ;)
As for the name, I like it.
