I spoke to the OPC at the time and they informed it it was only part of the enhanced testing, so if a TOC doesn’t do VSE then it’s not countedi think VSE is a national standard test.
it says 60 mins, so maybe its something else.Pretty instant refusal I assume its Location wise as there is no way my app was read/processed in 20mins haha.
Tho its 45mins for me to drive or take the train to Kings Cross from home.
Yeh I don't expect to really get much out of LNER apps hahaha but always worth the try. Far more luck with other TOCs it seems for meit says 60 mins, so maybe its something else.
50mins out driving is DartfordCan anyone actually afford to live within 60 mins of kings Cross?
it says CBI in the job description, but i surmise its both, with a quick search of the past chats/forums.Does anyone know if LNER is CBI or MMI?
I am , I’m going to do it tomorrowit says CBI in the job description, but i surmise its both, with a quick search of the past chats/forums.
is anyone on the video interview stage yet?
Any guidance on the type of answers on sjt?Done the application and assessments and seem to have passed them all. They are now asking for exam certificates for GCSE Maths and English. Provide within 5 days...absolutely no chance I'll be able to get the exam board to provide them that quickly. Anyone else in the same position? I am struggling to find a contact for their recruitment.
The sjt’s are fairly straightforward and you are timed.. I think there’s 12 questions and you get 25 mins to answer them! Not hard tho!Any guidance on the type of answers on sjt?
Think about safety. I work on the railway and it's the most important thingAny guidance on the type of answers on sjt?
ask in the Newcastle one, theyve probably all done itWhat type of questions do they ask on the video interview?
u could always google some practice onesAny guidance on the type of answers on sjt?
Not much point in them testing people if people just keep re-doing it til they pass, or keep asking everyone for the answers. They are trying to sift out those who can decipher what is correct in certain situations relative to the role of driver.Any guidance on the type of answers on sjt?
Yeah I had the same too so looks like they’re trying to fill some spaces on the November start dateJust received this email this evening…
Regarding your application for the role of Apprentice Driver Kings Cross (Talent Pool)
If you believe you passed and hold Enhanced Driver Psychometrics (must have been awarded in the last 5 years) please can you contact me directly (you can reply to this email) your video interview will still need to be reviewed so this will not reduce any steps in the process.
Looks like they are trying to fast track some people for courses.
