Have some of the extra ones started to arrive?

Yesterday I took the 1705 Euston-MKC which was formed of two of them, one of which was a /2 Brighton Express set (these are very, very nice inside) but had First Capital Connect moquette and light blue doors inside. I'm sure I recall that the one (and I thought it was only one) with this interior they had had LM style green seats. So is this an extra, as I believe was planned?

If so how many (319s generally, and 319/2s specifically) do they now have?

Is it true they are going to take over the Tring services meaning that they'll be used off peak?

I believe there is a plan to use some off peak, yes, and being based at Bletchley (but maintained at Northampton as Bletchley is now just sidings) the southern end of the WCML is probably the likely use for them.

That said, if all the Dec 2019 changes are postponed nationally this may be less of a priority, they were to release 350s to allow the Trent Valley to go 8-car and the other extra services to be added. Though perhaps they'll be used anyway as they are cheaper than 350/2s.

I think the ex Thameslink one with blue doors is the only one that has been added so far. Hope they get used as far as Northampton

The PIS can certainly show Northampton, the 1705 had that incorrectly up yesterday until it was corrected when the other member of traincrew (whichever does it) turned up.

More /2s please, they are great inside, one of the few trains where I can comfortably sit on all the seats rather than just priority seats or tables with nobody opposite.

Hopefully not - the 319s are in need of a refurb and are both relatively slow and noisy.

Give me a nice air con'd 350 any day.

Since May the long term plan has shown 319s for another 319 pair to work Bletchley - Euston in the morning and Euston - Northampton in the evening, but it has been substituted for 350s each week disappointingly. Perhaps there are not enough reliable 319s to operate another diagram.

According to the most recent RAIL magazine, 319002 and 319008 are at Wolverton Works for Refurbishment for WMT. Not sure what this refurbishment entails.

Bletchley depot is coming back into use.

Have 319002, 008, 012, or 215 actually left Wolverton yet?

A post on another forum reports a carriage of 319006 was seen heading south on the M40 today.

Interesting considering that 319006 hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Spares donor maybe?

Edit: report suggests that it was coach TSOL 71777

319215 now in service with LNWR, plain former TSGN livery with pale blue doors. Leaves 319002, 008 & 012 to appear, if they are indeed going to them.

I thought that was for the class 230's only.

Word on the street is that the shed will come back into use for the 319's as LM have insufficient stabling space elsewhere while the fuel pad will be home to the D trains. (obviously to use the shed if work is required)

There has been some recent fettling of the fueling part of the depot.

Has the diagrams for 319’s been increased if we have more in service? I have only seen them on their original diagrams

When LNWR withdraw the 319's, will the Abbey Line use 350s or new 730s?
I dont think the platforms are long enough for the 5-car 730s. So I would assume 350s would cover it. I know there was a project at very early stages (GRIP 2) which was reviewing the feasibility of through trains to London as well as a passing loop for 2tph. This was 2016 so I'm not sure how far this got.
