Can someone please confirm for me which depot in Crewe is now known as LNWR. Is it the old Crewe Carriage Depot?

Also is there any public viewing places to view what is on the depot/sidings. On the WNXX website there is a picture of 90050 which i believe is now stored in the depot yard. It has taken me a number of years to track down the whereabouts of this loco. This being the last member of the class i require to photo i'd happily make a trip up there to achieve this.

Can anyone offer any assistance? Incidently does anyone know where 90050 has been hiding for the last few years?

Many thanks

Was at Crewe EMD for a while I think, can't be much of it left. LNWR is on the east side of the WCML, just to the south of the diesel depot. It is entirely possible for 90050 to be in one of the sheds.

Thanks for the info. The picture is taken from some distance and from what i can see it has been caniballised for parts already. It certainly looks in a sorry state.

Assuming it has not moved in the pasr few weeks, the best way to see it was to take a train from Crewe to Alsager. 90050 was visible on the right hand side as you passed the LNWR depot.

It had been stored at Crewe IEMD since it was stored with fire damage whilst in use with Freightliner (90016 was given to FLR as a replacement).
It is very difficult to view Crewe LNWR from a vantage point, and catching a train may be a better option.
Thanks, Sam
