Hi all,

An email today came through today with a interview invite, this was a bit of a shock, as I applied for the position a seriously long time ago. The job being a trainee driver.

The interview is online through a app but with no panel, it’s a set of questions which I have to answer through the webcam. Something new that I’ve never seen or experienced before so it’s fair to say im really nervous.

I’ve never got to this stage for a driver position before, I will be brushing up to gather tips and studying some posts on here for interview prep,

Has anyone experienced this interview style before and can anyone share any advise if so, also I’m curious if there id anybody else here with this invite too?

James

I've had similar types of questions before in the past - they normally ask a question you get a bit of time to prep and then you repeat the questions back.

It's a bit weird at first answering to...nobody but make sure that the structure of your answer is good (you can still follow STAR) and make sure you timing is good and you don't rush the answer too much. At the same time, ensure there's enough detail so that you have a compelling answer.

Thanks for the reply,

I’ve used the star scenario before for the fire service, so I will definitely consider this.
