As Mr Bridge said you’re darn right Gus. The preserved 40145 looked good in it though...
I would agree completely with this, although the addition of a "Highland Rail" logo on the side would make it look better :D (not historically correct, but neither is the large logo!)

God I love Highland Rail Stag on a loco. Especially with a black headcode panel. Mmm...

The final 317/2 units were delivered in NSE livery.

317366 & 317367 were initially refused delivery from BREL as they were mistakenly still outshopped in blue/grey and these had to be hastily repainted.
317368 to 317372 delivered in NSE from new.

For the Class 90s it was 90001-025 in Swallow, 90026-036 in Mainline and 90037-050 new in triple grey with Railfreight Distribution logos.

There was a difference on the swallow 90's. 90001-6 had executive grey and 90007-25 had falcon grey not that you could tell the difference!

Can't forget 322481-322485 in 'Stansted Express' livery.

Or the Class 150 derivative Track Recording Unit.

Or that 22 of the 38 Mark 3B FOs (11073-11094) were delivered in the Pullman version of InterCity Executive complete with names and Pullman crest.

Finally, shouldn't forget that there were actually two new build Mark 3B Royal vehicles. Here is 2922, the Prince of Wales's Saloon. The smallest windows actually open - The Prince of Wales is a fan of fresh air (if you see pictures of him in a car the window by him is normally open a touch).

Did any 313s ever carry plain rail blue or were they all delivered in blue and grey?
