It's just been agreed that FGW will charter from Riviera top/tail EWS 37s to Weymouth as a summer Saturday turn, mainly as relief to the 1721 back from Weymo which will be a wedge-out even as a 5-car unit. Also two top/tail sets in operation for Glastonbury, originally 67s but could well see the Weymo
37s on one set.

Other rumors suggest the traction will actually be Riviera class 47s.

Oh right...

Weekend just goes from bad (missing 818/813 by 2 secs at Statty) to worse.

Monday'd better be decent, gotta try and prove that buying a new camera was worth it and I'm not gonna get suddenly bored of photography.

I can see them investigating it to be honest, but I can't honestly see it coming through that much.

That 1721 is mostly wedged so we shall see...

Do you know where the drivers are coming from Nat? FGW's ex-Wessex who were passed for the 31s per chance?

From my point of view "any slim" chance of anything loco hauled to Weymouth is better than a 1 coach unit isnt it?

Whether it be 47,66,67,31, 08, or Sarah Siddons!!!

I will be popping down to see it.

ooo-err; I'm frothing already.

47's would be good enough but a return of 37's, that really would be fantastic.
