Evening,

Heading down from Yorkshire and I've got myself a London Zone 1-6 travelcard for Saturday and will be available for some bashing and shack collecting all afternoon. There's so many options I'm at a loss where to start. What I'd really like to do is get some of the following but am struggling to see if they're possible on the travelcard, any ideas?

90s
HSTs
158s
159s
707s

90s inbound from Norwich on Stratford - Liverpool Street services, technically set down only but they are advertised.

HSTs not with a travelcard

158s I don't think run to London normally on Saturdays

159s again hourly service inbound from Clapham to Waterloo, pick up only heading back out

707s, depending when you are down they might be out to play

Hope that helps

Thanks for both of those, will try to utilise both.

On a slightly different angle do you know where I can find a list of which unit types work out of each terminus? Or even a way I could figure this out?

Great list. No 180 out of Paddington? While not units the 68's out of Marylebone might be of interest to the OP too.

There is at least one 168 diagram on the Met calling at Harrow on the Hill, and some Gerrards Cross stoppers can be 168s as well.

Wonder if I could get one of each unit type ........?

Are there others that run in zone 6 that's don't call at any terminus? I'm thinking there is as I seem to remember getting on a 458 at Clapham? I could be wrong however.

Yes, 458s run from Waterloo towards Clapham and Windsor/Reading. The list is incomplete. I will also add 172s from Marylebone, 387s from Paddington and 319s from St Pancras (until Sunday) and Euston (peak only).

Morning all,

Thanks for all the advice on the thread, was much appreciated.

I'm not one to write trip reports, yet, but thought you might be interested in what/where I ended up. Learned a lot as well, got caught up early on getting shacks in rather than units, so many easy potential moves to make found myself stuck on the same line refusing to let a shack opportunity to gt away. Wish I'd spent more time out of Liverpool Street and had realised that Limehouse was shut after getting the DLR to it.

Nice trip!

You probably shouldn't take Class 90s from Liverpool Street to Stratford though. Other direction is fine.

20 winner stations is a good effort!

I need to get myself to London soon.
