I hate Manchester!!
Havent seen any sun since my holiday on Turkey, 32C, and thats at night :shock:

43C at mid day.

It was full sun from about 11am when the haze cleared.

It was sunny in the Dee Valley yesterday :)

Have you photographed the A380 yet at LHR.

I have actually, twice on depature and twice on landing(although the shots from the landings aren't very good as it seems to have a phobia of the correct landing runway and decides to land on the other......grrrrr......)

Yeah, its due to wind that it changes runway ;) :lol:.

They usually change runways around midday.
One to photograph is Dubai 1 A6-HRM 747-400.Its due to be at LHR on the
6th sept staying overnight i'm told.

How do you know this?, A6 is a UAE reg so its based in DXB.

i mean rare as in not daily.I will know timings later in the week when we've spoken to the crew.

Where do you get this from, this info is usaully private I thought because its a Dubai Air Wing plane, but it usaully leaves in the morning, can go in the afternoon.

On the subject of air photos, Gatwich Airport train station is a great place for photographing take off aircrafts as well as trains. Last time I was down there saw a very nose up Virgin 747take off, but the weather was cloudy so to slow with my camera for that one ;)

But Gatwick isn't as good as LHR/EGLL ;).

Incorrect, Runway change is scheduled for 1500hrs everyday8)

Ahhh, that explains yesterday why I saw a A319 on finals on 27L (Hatton Cross) while I was near the Heathrow Academy (27R) waiting for a heavy* to land

*heavy- the big ones

:lol:, its not always at 1500hrs, Its been 27R/09L for a few days at a time:roll:
