Hi hope someone can help, dept London 0900 return same day Norwich 1700: svr return is normally £65.80 for any permitted. Would it be valid this Sat via Peterborough to avoid rail replacement buses? Does anyone know if there is an easement or is Peterborough a permitted route?
Thanks for any help

Just to expand on this, if you purchase a Super Off-Peak Day Return from London to Peterborough routed Great Northern/Thameslink only and an Off-Peak Day Return from Peterborough to Norwich, that would only cost £49.70.

Journey time would be around 3 hours 20, however.

If you want the flexibility of using LNER, it increases to £63.90 and is only 15 minutes faster.

Is going via Cambridge and Ely not an option if the GEML is closed? (Great Eastern Main Line - the line which has Norwich, Ipswich and Colchester, just to name a few)

Not this weekend as both routes are shut.

GEML buses Billericay to Witham
WAML buses Audley End to Cambridge North
ECML buses Royston to Cambridge / Cambridge North

Yeah I didn't think both ways are closed. I just thought the OP forgot about this alternative route instead of via Peterborough.
