In about a Months time the 325 Mail Units are to be reformed to run under their own power ceasing the need for Class 87's. The reason why the Class 325's have been loco hauled and running as only 3 coaches is because their transformers are being overhauled. It is believed a few 87's are to be kept spare for Thunderbird duties.
