Sorry all I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find anything...

Main line Steam in Europe, where is the best places to find out about it? Particularly Germany but others too. I see odd snippets in some magazines that I don't subscribe to so don't get anything reliably. I see adverts for example for a German tour which includes steam from Dresden to Prague but I can't find any other mention of it to see what time it departs etc. as I am in the area that day.

Would just be interesting to see one some time!

Perfect thank you for that!
Also one on Drehscheibe, but ISTR Lok-report was the better.

The operator's website will often have timings for a specific train.
Failing all else, a post (German or English) on Drehscheibe in the Museumsbahn forum asking for info will probably produce results... (convention is to prefix a question-mark - otherwise someone will moan).

There is as far as I know no place to find all mainline steam trains in Sweden, so the best thing is probably to check each organizer.

The national railway museum: https://www.jarnvagsmuseet.se/tagresor/aktuella-resor (The two trips left this year are both electric, but they usually have a few steam trips each year)
SKÅJ: https://www.skaj.se/resor/aktuellt.php (Both steam and electric)
Nynäshamn railway museum: https://www.njm.nu/nysida/resor/resor.php (Both steam and electric, usually do a few trips Stockholm-Nynäshamn with steam each year)
Museiföreningen Gävle-Dala Järnväg: https://www.mfgdj.nu
GBBJ: http://www.gbbj.nu/index.php/resor (Railway museum focusing on preserving TGOJ-related things and they organize trips as well. They also have three preserved steam turbine locos.)
SÅS: https://anglok.com/evenemang/
Föreningen Sörmlands Veteranjärnväg: http://www.fsvj.se/Resor_och_arrangemang.html

Those are the ones I can think of that run steam trains on the national network. Apart from the national railway museum all are non-profit organisations run by volunteers. And most of the links above are in Swedish, so use the translation software of you choice if you don't speak Swedish.
