Has anyone managed to make or get custom waterslide decals made?

I want to redecorate 2 of my locos into a fictional spot hire company (HNRC-esque) & wondering if there's any companies that do it for you?

Thanks

Hi,
I made my own when I was customising some models.
I got some waterslide transfer paper from CraftyComputerPaper

It works quite well with a few caveats:
You need a good quality printer to get decent prints.
Your design cannot include any white. (Almost no domestic printers can actually print white)
Similarly if a printed colour relies on looking lighter by only partially covering an area then it will look very different when transferred onto a dark base coat.

I enjoyed trying a few things out and got some good results.
The transfer paper is quite cheap and I'd recommend trying it just to see if it works for you.

Cheers,
Mr Toad
