I'm going to the Theatre next Thursday in Manchester. I will either be returning on the 2146 or 2207, both of which contain a leg on a bus. I notice the connection time for the latter journey at Stockport is only 5 mins and I'm concerned if there's a delay I might miss it , I have work in Stoke the next day and the journey is 93 mins in total as it is... Will I be ok? Should I book an advance just to make sure I get home? (I'd planned to buy a day return using my DSB railcard) - any thoughts/advice or am I worrying unnecessarily?

It's a rail replacement bus. It's not going to leave empty! Should be OK.
