Wasn't there also a case recently where an atheist refused to drive a bus with a "Try Praying" ad on it?

Tech companies are quite happy to sell your data to the highest bidder but when it comes to the police needing it for investigation, they suddenly won't hand it out. So maybe that's why the messages are still up.
They have no objection at all to handing it out to police with a warrant, which the police have no trouble getting in bulk for this kind of thing. They also don't hand it out to advertisers - they process it within their platforms to allow advertisers to target the ads. The big tech companies are guilty of plenty of objectionable practices, but neither of the things you are accusing them of.

Yeah but leaving it up negates the issue of getting warrants.
