Hello
A friend of mine was really looking forward to his booked trip on the Midland Pullman -joining at Lockerbie - to Fort William. He heard this morning the new destination was Oban after a landslide closed the FW line.

However at about lunchtime he texted to say the servcie had failed at Crianlarrich- apparenlty a power car failure. RTT shows it started lagging behind time after leaving the Glasgow area.

Later in the afternoon, thye started theri return journey but very very slowly.

Can anyone advise what the fault was?

Phil

Reported elsewhere that one power car was overheating.
