Hi,

First post here after being a long time lurker!

I recently found a box of slides taken in @ 1991 which to cure my curiosity I got digitised. Unfortunately the quality is quite poor possibly due to poor storage/cheap film? Anyway I've being trying to identify all the locations but there are two that have stumped me. I'll put one here and see if anyone has any ideas. It's 60002, 60040 & 60068 all looking quite new and shiny. I've a vague idea it might be west London??

Cheers,

Chris

ps sorry if this in the wrong section.

I could not resist spending a minute with you photo in GIMP. Is this better? Applying Auto White Balance and playing with the brightness and contrast sliders does wonders without needing to be an expert (I'm not). You might want to use it on your other digitised slides.

Not bad that @Lucan although the enhancement does seem (to me) to have somewhat washed out (and dulled) much of the colour of the centrepiece traffic cone. ;)

That's true. So I've increased the saturation and replaced the pic in my post above. I'm really trying to show the OP what is possible.
