Word form the N-Gauge Society AGM is that the next decent loco to come from Bachmann will be the retooled 57. Featuring accurate lighting, higher detailed bogies, and enhanced roof detail. No word if all the planned liveries will be out together, or one at a time (Thunderbird / Freightliner / FGW).

Along with this should be the HTA's in EWS.

Still nothing on the 60's although rumours suggest it may be a Warley release.

HST and 101 are still a long way off, possibly 2007 (despite being in the 2005/2006 release plans).

Just learned that on the dapol stand there were many rumours about them releasing a Class 60 in 2007. Following on from their Class 66 triumph :)

However the rumour ran along the lines of :

Customer : "So whats the next modern image loco you'll bring out?"
Dapol : "We wont be drawn into product information until we are not far from release. We could give 58, 59 or even 60 reasons for doing this........."

So that said, they could adapt their Class 66 model to a Class 59 and release another handful of liveries which would be great for us GWML'ers :)

Or they could ocme up with a 58 and avoid racing Bachmann to the shops again.
