Network Daytripper, photocard needed?

Just looking at this page for the West Midlands Daytripper (http://tickets.networkwestmidlands.co.uk/CT_TicketDetail.aspx?TicketID=39&TicketOptionID=29881&resultsPage=0) and it appears to suggest that you need a passport photograph (for a photocard) to be able to buy the Daytripper?

Is this correct, or am I just being stupid?

It says for age/concession tickets a photocard is required.

You don't need one.

No photocard is needed for a Daytripper only for the 7 day and longer travelcards.
