Their Facebook page has an announcement dated 15/8 of an AGM EGM (correction, thanks to @43096) on 31/8. It is in the format of an image of text, but Windows 11 Snipping Tool, now with OCR, is very helpful...

I hope they don't go under. I love their merch and there are plenty more of those mugs I want to get. Was planning on doing a trip down to Shepherds Well sometime soon too to see the museum. I've always absolutely loved the NSE brand since I was a small child.

That is not an AGM. It is an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting). Not a good sign if they’re having one if them…

Hi all.

I do have a bit of a working relationship with the network south east society. I have been speaking with the person in charge of the sales stand as we are due to share a stand at Northfleet for the Model Transport Show.

I can confirm the musuem is open on the 24th to 26th August as part of the East Kent Railway Beer Gala

They will be at the North Kent Model Transport Event at Northfleet school for Girls on the 31st August - Link https://www.gres.org.uk/event/the-north-kent-model-transport-event/

I hope this helps.

Didn't they own southern EMU 1753? There was an article in the August Railway Magazine saying it was being restored for the mainline in NSE livery, so unless it's been sold, they can't be doing too bad.

Not necessarily (a EGM isn’t always a sign of impending doom) though reading the agenda it does look like it in this case.

The NSERS was dissolved today at the EGM. Meeting chaired by Alex Green, brother of Chris Green. Apparently a toxic culture existed within the management committee, non-cooperation and important information not forthcoming to allow the society to function.
All assets and artefacts will transfer to the Network Southeast Railway Society Ltd (a holding company for the brand and 4-CIG 1753).

So it'll hopefully re-emerge in a different form? Agreed about the merch, it was excellent, bought some at the Spa Valley diesel day.
