New Larkhall Line

Officially opened by Scotlands First Minster Jack McConnell today. Although passanger services dont begin until the 11th Decemeber.

Larkhall is about 20 mins from Motherwell, and did have a rail connection before although was demolished.

Cant wait to go on the new route Although 334's/318s are likely to be working services to and from. The line also includes another 2 new stations

I hope that these services will serve Dalmarnock and Bridgeton unlike the Hamilton shuttles as these stations at the moment are one more half-hourley service away from having a frequent service instead of a 10/20 minute service.
