No Network railcard discounts on GWR advance tickets?

As a regular commuter who holds a Network railcard, I've just noticed that GWR advances do not offer discounts with advance tickets for journeys after 1000 and for tickets which exceed the minimum £13 fare. My typical journey is Newbury <-> Paddington. GWR's Advance T&C webpage shows that network railcards should enable a discount. Any thoughts, or has anyone seen this before?

Advances are not eligible for Network Railcard discounts.

A Network Railcard will not give you discounts on Advance tickets, Season Tickets, First Class tickets, Oyster pay as you go, Eurostar tickets, special excursions or charter trains, or in conjunction with some Train Company special offers.

Ah - thanks. Maybe then GWR's website has it wrong, althogh the second sentence defers to the railcard T&Cs. A bit misleading maybe.

Railcard

16-25 Railcard, Two Together, Disabled Persons Railcard, HM Forces Railcard, Senior Railcard, Network and GoldCard all offer 34% discount. Minimum fares / time restrictions may apply to tickets bought with a Railcard or other discount card. See terms and conditions of the appropriate Railcard or discount card for details.

I think the person who wrote the text for that page simply wasn't knowledgeable enough to realise there's no discount with a Network Railcard. Perhaps worth an email to GWR?

Of course, none of them offer 34% discount. They offer 33.4% discount. There was a massive exercise to check a year ago that websites were updated when the railcard discount was changed. Obviously this page escaped.

I've occasionally bought advance tickets that have had a network railcard discount applied. But clearly those tickets had been set up wrongly in the ticketing systems.

The GWR page is wrong. The Network Railcard never discounts Advances, and that includes theirs (and I have bought them on odd occasions).

The Gold Card might, I can't remember.

Indeed.

My comment was about the rate of discount, I even highlighted it. Not about Advances with Network Railcards.

Yes, EMR had misconfigured some for quite a long while before they noticed.
