There does not seem to be any bins at Euston station inside or out. Just a mitie litter picker with a litter trolley.
Why are there no bins and does it make sense that there are no bins?
There are so many outlets particularly at Euston like burger king that will generate rubbish across the station.

Is this the same across other large stations in the country?

Is it a network rail thing?

It's rather perplexing

Do you remember the IRA? A common tactic was to leave a device in a bin (usually in a holdall or other bag).

Freestanding bins at major stations have been few and far between since the English bombing campaign, with it becoming more common to have roving staff members.

It’s a counter terrorism thing (whether it is just security theatre is a good question). You will find the same on most London termini and TfL stations - some may have clear bin bags as a concession to the fact people may wish to dispose of items.

Outlet staff will be able to dispose of rubbish if you hand it to them.
