Northern Duo no longer available

Sis in Law is due to visit this weekend and she usually travels on a Northern duo ticket with her adult son. Checking online on both National Rail and Northern the duo option is not showing. (Hull - Bempton return). Does anyone know if this is a system glitch or have Northern withdrawn them. I know the long term solution will probably be a two together railcard if they are withdrawn, but if its just a glitch then to be honest apart from visiting us maybe once a month she would not use it so would pointless to get the railcard.

@Bletchleyite , no Saturday morning, never been a problem before. I know weekdays i think you can't use them before 9.30.

.Just double checked on Northern App and definitely no duos

Edit: just checked Transpennine website and they are showing the duo, so it looks like a northern glitch.

Yes just coming up with two day returns at just over £30

I have had a play and can't get the app to sell any Duo. The website however is selling them correctly.

Duos can't be fulfilled as e/m-tickets so I wonder if that is causing the issue. Looks like if you want one to use a TVM, ticket office or the website to buy.

Yes just gone on website rather than app and that shows them. So problem solved, thanks.

Yeah, there is an issue with the Northern app, it will only offer the Duo if you select "Open return".

This is not the only issue where there has been a discrepancy between what the Northern's app and website offer.
