Please correct or move thread if you think it is in the wrong place or opening a can of worms etc. but shouldn't any threads regarding NIR be in the UK section?

Matters about NIR should be discussed in the UK Rail section. Matters relating to Iarnród Éireann should be discussed in International Transport as should the cross border Enterprise services. This has been the case since the name change from National Rail to UK Railway. If you spot a thread that you think is in the wrong place by all means report (
report.gif
) it and if necessary we'll move it to the correct area.

Yes, anything that is wholly within the UK belongs in the UK section.

If you spot a thread that isn't in the right place, please use the report button (

).

Most reports are read, and acted upon as appropriate, very quickly.

Would you look at that...no forum staff come along for 24 minutes, then two of them arrive at the same time!

In this case I am happy to leave the thread where it is, for the reason Sidious mentions.

The same principle would apply for discussing services through the Channel Tunnel, for example.

*Can of worms opened* How about making the section UK and Ireland? Would solve the split between UK and International with the Enterprise and any other suggested x-border routes

Topics that were Irish only would be totally buried under UK topics, they would drop off the front page of the forum very very quickly and get hardly any notice from people who are interested in those topics.
