Northern's first Sheffield to Manchester stopper of the day.

On Sundays, Northern's first service from Sheffield via the Hope Valley is the 08:14. The Manchester services are, AFAIK, run exclusively by Manchester crew. As the 08:14 has no inbound working, can anyone please tell me how it works?

Is there a link of Sheffield train crew that maintains Hope Valley knowledge, or does a Manchester link involve overnighting in Sheffield?
