I'm not sure how many of you are interested, but I am working with several other people to try and open up access to rail data.

I gave a presentation at OpenTech 2011 a couple of weeks ago, http://blog.poggs.com/2011/05/open-rail-data/ has the presentations from Jonathan Raper of Placr, and yours truly.

Is anyone else here similarly aligned? If so, let's talk.
