OpenBVE 1.2.4.1 has been released yesterday. ( more info and download at http://openbve.freeforums.org/openbve-v1-2-4-development-release-t1306.html )
This version is for testing purposes.
In this version Michelle has adapted her own WAV parser, written for openBVE 2, on openbve 1.
There may be some problems in playing some sounds, so she need some feedback to improve her parser. (for this reason she has not published it on the homepage)
In this version the developer is trying to:
P.S. In order to run this version you need to have a previous openbve's version installed properly, and then replace the openbve.exe with the one downloaded in the above link. You will not need these dependencies: alut.dll and sdl_mixer.dll .
P.S.* For who don't want set up the program manually, i have made that step myself and can be downloaded here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G2CVSVKQ (Ver. 1.2.4.3, include the base program + the needed dependencies)
(To run further development versions is needed to replace the openbve.exe with the one downloaded in the link http://openbve.freeforums.org/openbve-v1-2-4-development-release-t1306.html )

- Fix sound issues
- Remove two dependencies: alut.dll, sdl_mixer.dll
