Friend is trying to book tickets for his daughter on the journey Oxford to Hereford, out on 22nd, return on the 24th, but keeps getting a "no trains" message. I've checked on 2 booking sites and get the same answer but can't seem to find a reason for this.
Anyone got the answer please?

Worcester area – weekend of 22/23 May

Trains between London Paddington and Great Malvern/Hereford will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill, on Saturday, and at Worcester Foregate Street, on Sunday.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Great Malvern will terminate at Worcester Foregate Street on both dates.

Buses will replace trains towards Great Malvern or Hereford.

Poor though not to give departure times from Oxford.

Looks like no easement to allow travel via alternative routes.

This means TOC websites will generally not offer itineraries, as the journey is not deemed possible on one ticket.

Trainsplit will get round that of course.

GWR should have either implemented appropriate alternative service provision and/or requested fare easements for travel via alternative routes.

Thanks, message passed on. She can get to Shrewsbury but since the Cambrian is also closed then Dad will have to travel there. She doesn't "do" buses!
