Hello - there is a path appeared in RTT tomorrow, 08:49 from Paddington (platform 8) to Leicester LIP - any idea what this might be?
Seems to originate from Old Oak depot...

The header made me think of a trip I made from Paddington to Leicester (Central), the loco was 6920 Kingstone Grange, and the driver was George Evinson of Leicester, info thanks to Colin Walkers book Great Central Twilight Finale this took place on Saturday June 14th 1958. In best spotter mode I cabbed the Grange at around 02-30hrs at Leicester. Leicester liked the Grange so much they kept it and ran it on local services for a week or so.
