Payday for new starter at Scotrail?

Hi folks need a little bit of advice, can anyone here who works for Scotrail tell when I will be paid my first wage as I need to sort the finances out as Im weekly paid at the mo. I start on mon 30th June.. Any help would be much appriciated. :D

Next payday is Friday 4th July for 4 week period ending 28th June. So your first pay will be on Friday 1st August.

Also, you will be given the opportunity to join the Credit Union at your induction week. I recommend you join as they can offer you an instant loan to tide you over for the month.

Yes indeed! Not sure how it is now but they used to offer an interest free loan for 2 months to cover for people in exactly your situation. If not free they will still help you out with a very cheap loan, repaid directly from your salary.
