PC help!

Hello.

I put in a CD and it didnt autoload. So I went to My computer and double clicked "DVD drive" as thats what its called. but it froze, so I pressed ALT+CTRL+DEL and clicked 'End Task' and then I restarted my computer.

Now it doesnt even see the CD drive!? and the CD is still inside and it wont eject!

Please help!

Should be ok you must get that CD out first keep trying if no luck then its broken.

Use a paperclip to get the tray out mechanically if you need to get out the CD quickly.

Is it still shown in the hardware list in system properties? If not then try searching for new hardware, it might just need the driver reinstalled.
