People trying to get away with not paying the full price for goods or services (not a bus/train ticket discussion though).

And a rule that needs to be abolished.
I cannot think offhand of any other organisation in this country which punishes its customers ( as it now likes to call them) for paying the correct price for the product offered.

Film and TV streaming services (and TV licenses), newspaper paywalls, supermarkets, public WiFi, income tax, parking, fly tipping (or masonry fees et al at recycling centres)... so in short, yes. Fare evasion is not unusually widespread in contrast to other attempts to pay less than one is 'supposed to'.

And on top of all those, many people will make a huge fuss about being short changed and not even consider mentioning (other than to their friends, later on) being given too much change.

Takeaways who have customers falsely claiming that items were missing or incorrect is another serious issue for businesses. It's common unfortunately.

Stuff ‘not delivered’ by various delivery companies (and huge internet retailers). The list is very long.
