I'm a London-based photographer, and am embarking on a photo-essay project focusing on lesser understood hobbies. I'd really like to meet with rail enthusiasts, preferably while on platforms and trains, to try to capture the essence of what it means to follow this as a hobby.
My aim is to add this to my portfolio rather than publishing it anywhere, but I would always seek approval of anyone featuring in the images before any publishing of any kind. I want to stress that this will be a positive representation of the hobby rather than anything else.
If anyone would be willing to meet with me to share your passion and for me to take some in-situ photos, please do let me know - it would be greatly appreciated and I'm excited to tell the story of this really interesting hobby!
