All you need to do is download all the zip files, extract them to a temporary folder, and copy the folder with all the files in it to your ROUTES folder.

Download and install them from UKtrainsim. Since you want to download the 'Euston-Lime Street route' (Thames-Mersey 4.3) I'd suggest buying the Thames-Mersey DVD from UKtrainsim for £3. That comes with rolling stock and 150 activities.

Hope that helps :)

Because it's aliased to use the Acela sounds. If you want the 350 to sound more prototypical read the guide on how to alias cabs and sounds on UKtrainsim. (Can't provide the link atm as the site appears to be down))

Ahoy Ant.

I'll explain it in more description to make sure you've done it right

Download the file from UKTrainSim
Unzip or "Extract" files from the .zip folder and put them on your Desktop in a Temporary Folder.

Once this has done go to -
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\ROUTES

Put the files from the Temporary Folder in a new folder in \ROUTES\

Double click the "installme.bat" file (this is essential for picking up extras needed from other routes!)

If you have every other ESSENTIAL file the route should work..

Hope this helps

It will be in the folder with the route.

That's the file that writes to the system that it's in there.

would it not have been easier to buy the Thames Mersey CD which installs the route, associated files and trains and over 100 activities. its only 4.99 if I remember and gives a months free membership to UKTS

sorry if thats the lazy way to doing it but can make it quicker and easier to install
