The plymouth valley railway, reopened today, on its 50th anniversary of the line closure ( 29th December 1962). Today saw trains travelling to the newly constructed Plym Valley platform which was opened today. It's a reopened section of the old south Devon and tavistock railway.

There are some pictures on there Facebook page, but I'm not sure if I am allowed to post the link here.

Their 'key' word seems to be 'sensible', in the respect that it's taken 30 years to get this far, and to concentrate on doing a good job ONCE. Well done to all concerned with the PVR
