Saw the below video which was taken in 2007, and wandered if the track between Plymouth Friary and Mount Gold Junction is still intact just like the video, or has it been lifted.

Yes, the track as seen is still in place.

Laira Bridge is still there, although the track has been lifted, the trackbed continues eastwards for a short while parallel to Billacombe Road, but is not accessible.
