Polish 66

I hear that DB are exporting some of their 66s to Poland, anybody know how many and which ones?

From Railways Illustrated:

66220 went to Poland last April.

66163, 227 and 248 are being prepared at Toton. 13 will be sent this year and the remainder to follow over the next couple of years.

The locos chosen are from 66146 upwards, and this isn't expected include any 66's from the UK fleet that work for Euro Cargo Rail in France and Spain.

Good news is that DBS are planning to reactivate Class 60's to cover for the shortfall of 66's.

And they are planning to send 40 Class 66's to Poland.
